Mosby had only one brother, William. Blakely was his wife’s sister, I believe, who came to live with he and Pauline after their marriage but I am not sure of that.
You are correct that John had only one brother. According to John S. Mosby’s New York Times obituary, Blakely was his sister. I’ve made the change in the Quick Facts.
There is a woman Elizabeth N. Born in Pennsylvania in 1950. Birth record states father was 17 year old John S. Mosby….can Any one shed any light on this???
